CCMS Parent Involvement Goal

CCMS Parent Involvement Goal

The CCMS goal for the 2017-18 school year is to better provide a quality academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular environment where parents & guests want to see their child perform.   Additionally, we want to personally call or meet with parents to discuss their child’s academic progress.  With a six grade school-within-a-school and grade level Principals, CCMS is structured to provide campus to personalized parent involvement.

Parent volunteers, along with campus committees, met every 3 weeks to discuss how best to utilize parental involvement and campus activities.

To monitor our parent involvement participation, CCMS maintains a spreadsheet where we capture the date, function of the event, estimated number of families involved and a brief summary statement of the event every 3 weeks.

Our parent involvement has ranged from Community in Schools contacts to Fine Arts to Athletic Events to personalized phone calls and parent conferences.   CCMS teachers and principals journal in Eduphoria each time we make a personal phone call or hold a parent conference.
