Principal's Message

As we begin our last day before the Thanksgiving Break, I wanted to thank all our parent volunteers that have helped to meet one of our major goals: more parent involvement and participation on campus. Our Thanksgiving lunch, Literacy Night(book fair), Family Bingo Night, and sporting events have been huge successes. We are always thankful and appreciative of your help. When we get back from break we have three good weeks before Christmas Break and have plans to finish up our push to have our 8th graders ready and pumped for their transition into high school with Pathway presentations for UHS academies and Parent information nights. As always, we thank you for allowing us to help grow your students. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

The start on the 2nd 6 weeks is already here and we so many wonderful things happening. Our 1st CDMC meeting will be held on 10/05 at 5:15 in the library, we are excited about the new year and plans are underway for more parent involvement. We will have our 2nd Parent Night on October 16th, with a Tamale Cook off and Family Bingo night. Football and Volleyball are in full swing and our academics are rocking!! We are so proud and thankful that you trust us with your students and look forward to a wonderful next 6 weeks.

The first 3 weeks of school has ended and it certainly went fast. We are all so excited about this year at Cesar Chavez. We have already had our 1st Parent Night and it was a great success. The next one is October 19th...Bingo, Prizes, and childcare provided. Our football and volleyball teams are gearing up for their games on the 11th and 12th. Teachers are in full teaching mode and our school expectations are posted school-wide. This year is off to a wonderful start. Thanks for all you do to help us do all we can for our kids.
